You uninstalled the trial version of AutoCAD® before the 30-day trial had expired.
When you tried to reinstall the trial version, the trial period was not continued and you were prompted to activate the product.
You have installed the free trial on your computer for the firsttime and when launching the software, you get the message 'Your trial has expired'.
You have installed the free trial on your computer for the firsttime and when launching the software, you get the message 'Your trial has expired'.
Solution:
The trial version will expire prematurely if AutoCAD® is uninstalled from your computer.
If this occurs, the trial version cannot be restored on the affected computer. Please try either a different computer or perhaps a different trial that may include the product you are looking to try. Example:
If you are looking to have a trial of AutoCAD LT 2014, Try using the AutoCAD Revit LT Suite 2014. This includes AutoCAD LT and Revit LT. Your computer will see it as a different trial and allow you to run for 30 days.
If you get the message 'Your trial has expired' when launching the software for the first time, you may follow the below workaround:
1) Shut down the software
2) Open the software and once you get the trial screen, look for the hyperlink that says ALREADY HAVE A LICENSE located at the lower-right corner of the screen
3) Click on ENTER A SERIAL NUMBER
4) Then, click on RUN
You will see that the trial period will get back to 30 days.
